I've been receiving emails from some of you that have bought the book asking which songs by Siouxsie inspired which stories. So here's the break down for you:
Below you will find a synopsis of each story with reference to which track it was based on:
ICON: A popular fiction writer, attempting to stray from the confines of horror, is dealt a crushing blow by the failure of a book he writes on spiritual endeavors. He is urged to write another short story of gruesome merit, but this new story destroys him once and for all. (Icon from the Lp, "Join Hands")
A LETTER TO MONICE: A man writes a letter to his daughter on the night of his death, confessing a generation long obsession by a deformed man to hunt down and murder the previous orphans under the care of some nuns. (Rawhead and Bloodybones from the Lp, "Peepshow").
THE DOLLY: A woman seduces two brothers, urging one to commit murder against the other, for the sake of a house and an inheritance, only to discover fatally she is the whose been used in the process. (Voodoo Dolly from the Lp, "Juju").
SHE!: A despised conservative socialite invites herself to a party honoring a man's new country home and prized pet foxes.....wearing a fox stole made from the foxes found on said property. (AUTHOR'S NOTE: This story was an experiment in refusing to use the woman's name, but instead, constantly referring to the character as "SHE" and utilizing alliteration after and preceding the pronoun.) (Skin from the Lp, "JuJu").

CHEAP RED AND NEARLY DEAD: Two friends converge over wine to pass their time, becoming the legends of absurd stories around town....even when one of them dies. (Are You Still Dying, Darling? B-side to the single, "The Killing Jar").
CARNEL CHARNEL: A woman sexually aroused by ghost stories is told one about an adulterous couple who is murdered.... in the home she is about to buy. (Nightshift from the Lp, "JuJu.")
TENANTS: A voyeuristic old woman and a reclusive old man build a love affair through a pinhole in the wall that separates their apartments. (AUTHOR'S NOTE: My absolute favorite of all these stories!) (Tenants from the Lp, "Kaleidoscope" and The Last Beat of My Heart from the Lp, "Peepshow").
